I had a great weekend. I spent the night with Leslie last night while Bryan and lil Zay went to Fayettville. We watched movies and ate popcorn- it was fun! That Leslie, she is my best friend and I love her. She inspires me everyday. Today Chris and I went to the City Wide Garage Sale. It was fun shopping around, although we didn't find anything we couldn't live without. Afterwards we went to the Hyde Park Bar & Grill for some burgers.
Tonight we completed our homework and did some reading. The 2nd adoption training class went well. The classes are really interesting and we are learning alot. I really like the role playing and group skits we participate in, it helps bring meaning to the lessons we are learning rather than just reading the content out loud. This coming Thursday the class will be 4 hrs long so I hope the time continues to fly by. I'm greatful for all the things Chris and I are learning in these classes, the information will definitely help prepare us to be better parents.
As time is passing by I can't help but SMILE............because I know that with every passing day we get closer to the day we will meet our boy :) and how that makes my heart shine!
